NORTH WALES

Splash Point Photo Photography Studio is on the North coast of Wales, UK, and quite literally over the road from the beach in Denbighshire. While we'd love to keep you in the studio for as long as possible, and while it's often considered that most don't book long enough to take in all our locations as is and book a return trip, we absolutely urge you to make a day or weekend of it if you're travelling to get here to us! Located in the small town of Rhyl, a once thriving seaside town of choice by many, the local area is undergoing massive investment to help it rediscover its old crown, and with the likes of Zip World to be the latest company to bring an attraction here, I'm sure it'll only keep growing. Forget what you've heard about Rhyl, I've lived in Solihull which is considered a posh bit of the Midlands, and Rhyl is much better maintained! Where Splash Point is located is a beautiful part of town and less busy than the main centre, so if trying to find a spot by the arcades and shops isn't your thing, then parking up by us and walking along the beach could be a better bet.
Outside of Rhyl, whether you want mountains and castles, or the big city life and culture, then we're only about an hour from Snowdon in one direction, and equally that of the home of the Beatles with Liverpool in the other. Then there's the quaint castle walled town of Conwy, and one of the UK most beloved seaside towns in Llandudno up the coast about half an hour from us, along with Angel Bay where you can see seals in the wild practically all year round. 20 mins takes you to Gwrych Castle, the British home of "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!", while 45 mins will have you back in the Roman walled town of Chester. These barely scratch the surface! Now that Ryan Reynold has bought a house in Wrexham, it's not unusual to hear American accents down the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, yet another beautiful spot within an hour.

I finally managed as shoot at the fabulous Splash point. I've always wanted to shoot there and I've always wanted to shoot Maryna Sedin so when those two stars were in a alignment then It just had to happen.
Slick comms and a warm welcome by Russ into a fab studio. The pics online just don't do it justice and I will shoot there often. Kitted out with all you need including a heated swimming pool and Russ helping with lights and setup, plus a great brew to start the session. David Claytonn
